Heil dir im Siegerkranz
Heil dir im Siegerkranz fue desde 1871 hasta 1918 uno de los tres himnos nacionales no oficiales del Imperio alemán, no fue un himno nacional en el sentido como lo entendemos hoy en día, fue más bien un himno imperial.
Esta canción no fue popular en todo el Imperio y no fue bien acogida por círculos nacionalistas alemanes ni por los estados del sur de Alemania como Baviera por compartir la melodía con el himno británico God save the Queen. Heil dir im Siegerkranz terminó siendo sustituido por el popular himno Das Lied der Deutschen que al final se convirtió en el himno oficial de la República de Weimar.
Versiones del mismo, con letras diferentes, son el himno nacional de Liechtenstein (Oben am jungen Rhein), el himno real de Noruega (Kongesangen) y el himno nacional no oficial del Reino Unido (God save the Queen).
